E.G. Salazar

On August 4, 2014 our campus, E.G. Salazar, implemented the Leader In Me model.  Our campus has:

• created a shared vision for our ideal school

• established a common language of leadership

• learned how to effectively teach the 7 Habits and other leadership principles 

• applied the 7 Habits to develop 21st century leadership competencies in students and staff

• created an action plan around our school’s unique culture of leadership

• certified a small group (Lighthouse Team)to train new staff in the 7 Habits content

• equipped our Lighthouse Team to provide ongoing professional learning to staff

• established roles and processes for effectively working as a team

• customized a multi-year school implementation plan

• align school efforts to create an enduring leadership culture and achieve Lighthouse milestone
